Hello everyone,

I'm slowing reverting my car to a more basic form for sale, and I'm starting by putting the factory sound system back in. This is a complete lot of working parts which I have been using in my 2003 540i for years. Everything worked PERFECTLY. Some of the items might show signs of wear such as light scuffs of scratches but rest assured, everything is in top working order.

I am starting off asking $1500 for the COMPLETE LOT. I can break down the prices of each component as I list them, they have been researched and are the going rate for each part. I can negotiate a better price for someone who takes the complete lot in one clean shot.

ALL PHOTOS ARE ON MY PHOTOBUCKET: Audio Components Photos by mannyg-bmw | Photobucket

Alpine IVA-D901 - $350
This is a COMPLETE unit. Includes flip-out head unit, hide-away brain, remote, all original wires with plenty of slack, radio cage, E39 radio harness, and the very necessary PAC-TR7 unit which enables functions of the radio while in motion without having to wire up the handbrake wires etc. I also have an extra 3-meter KWB-309B extension cable which allows the brain to be even further away. The unit itself only allows for 2 of them to be connected together, no more. This cable is a $40 value on eBay. Antenna extension cable and adapter included. Also includes 1 Monster AI-Net cable. I have multiple AI-Net cables, ask about lengths.

Alpine KTP-445 - $150
This is the add-on power pack which boosts power output from the Alpine brain to 4x45w. This is NOT the universal version, this was the first original version Alpine released to be used only with "black plug harness" head units. It is a simple and straight forward hookup between the IVA-D901 (or any Alpine black harness) and the brain/unit itself. It has a switch on the underside to switch between high and low gain.

Alpine MRP-M1000 - $200
This is a mono amplifier capable of 1000w RMS x 1 @ 2ohm, or 600w RMS x 1 @ 4ohm. I used it in the 600w 4ohm configuration with the Kicker L7 sub I have listed here. I have the original box and speaker level input (unused) for this amp along with the original endplates. Nothing is missing from this amp package at all. I can include the power & ground harness with the 200amp JL Audio in-line fuse, it is the correct length to reach the battery and fuse box in the E39 trunk. I will also include the carpeted mount board pictured which I had mounted to the underside of the rear deck with the custom mounts.

Alpine NVE-N872A - $350
This is the navigation unit with all of the original wiring. The only thing missing from this package to make it complete is the RUE-4140 remote. The remote from the IVA-D901 controlled this navigation unit just fine since it is a multi-function remote. It has the last version that was available for this unit, 2010. To my knowledge there were no more updates released after that, check with Alpine to be sure.

Alpine KCA-420i - $60
This is the AI-Net iPod module. I was on the fence about selling this since hearing about the Intravee module for the E39 and factory integration. This has the original iPod cable and all, perfect working condition. It has not had any modifications done to it to enable charging of iPhones/iPods, etc. Includes 1 AI-Net cable, ask which length you need.

Sirius SIR-ALP10T for Alpine - $50
This module is the bread and butter for the IVA-D901 and NVE-N872A. It is not only a Sirius tuner, but also a Sirus Traffic which integrates with the navigation. The monthly subscription to both services is about $25. Includes all original wiring + Sirius antenna. Includes 1 AI-Net cable, ask which length you need.

Kicker 10" L7 Solo-Baric Subwoofer /w box - $150
This sub & box combo hits tight. Kicker specs claims that it can handle 1000w RMS, but I remember reading somehwere else 750w RMS. Either way, I only had max 600w RMS @ 4ohm pushing this sub and it hit great. The box has a nice big port out of the side and the carpet on the box is clean and nearly perfect. It fits perfectly in the E39 trunk with room to spare.

MB Quart MusiComp 3-way Crossovers - $120
I picked these up to drive the front speakers in the door of the E39. They were the best choice for the components I had available. They have adjustable db jumpers and support bi-wiring / bi-amping. Only the crossovers are available.

MB Quart Q-Line QXD-213/216 Crossovers - $75
These came as part of a MB Quart QSD component set I bought years ago. The woofers blew out and the crossovers were left over. I chose to use them for the rear deck and rear door speakers... worked perfectly. Same options as the MusiComps

I pulled out the MB Quart 6.5" mids and 1" tweeters from the doors, I can offer them alone or paired with the Q-Line crossovers for an additional $125

Not going to bump this much, going on eBay in another few days.

I had it all mounted in the trunk of my E39. I replaced the entire factory DSP system with these components. I had the brain for the receiver installed where the amp is and cross overs and amp mounted under the rear shelf. the 10" sub box is removable when I need trunk space.

This complete setup can replace the entire radio/amp system in your car, but not integrate with any screens of the car. The iPod module can with an Intravee module

KTP-445 power pack, MRP-M1000 Amp, and SIR-ALP10T Sirius Traffic tuner have all sold on eBay.

NVE-N872A has been reused in my car and is no longer for sale.

IVA-D901 had a winning bidder on ebay who has not paid and has a case against them.

Everything else is still up for grabs.

Just to update,

Sub box with Kicker L7 is gone.
SIR-ALP10T Sirius and Traffic tuner are also gone.

Cross overs and head unit are still available.

Navigation is also still available, but I currently have it installed in my car with a separate Alpine TME-M580 screen on a E39 specific Pro-Fit mount. I also picked up a remote for the nav as well. I can sell the entire nav package with the TME screen & E39 mount for a total of $400.
