I recently picked up a Carbon Black/Black 2002 M5 which came with wood interior trim. I never thought wood trim go well with the interior. I had the wood trim wrapped with carbon fiber fabric. It "mordernized" the interior significantly and made the car look a lot more sporty than the wood trim, but I still like the look of a silver trim after having it for a couple of months. I finally bit the bullet and bought the Silver interior trim set replacing my carbon fiber wrapped wood set. Hence, i am selling my carbon fiber wrapped set (8 pieces total) for $200 + shipping (from WA 98102) or $230 shipped within Continental US.

I forgot to take pictures while the CF trims were still on the car as I did not think about selling them when I put the silver trim on. However, you can see some pictures of the trim installed from these threads, http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/sale-wanted/157169-carbon-fiber-fabric-trim-wrap-service.html and http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/owners-gallery/140475-caramel-carbon-fiber-wrap-more.html.

This is a well worth mod if you want to "modernize" the look of your car. A lot of people are getting Suro's trim wrap service (thread above) if you don't want to deal with the hassle to do it yourself, but they have to be trimless while waiting for the trim to be done. You don't have to be trimless if you buy an already wrapped set and then sell your old set.

The only downside of the CF wrap is that the ashtray door rubs a bit when opening and closing (it is well known thing and is mentioned on the above thread, post #33 http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/owners-gallery/140475-caramel-carbon-fiber-wrap-more-4.html), but it is a non issue for me as I don't use the ashtray that often.
