Racing Dynamics RDSport Competition Headers + Full Competition Exhaust System
Its time to swap out exhaust systems, again! This is the 3rd set up I've installed on my car (1st Meisterschaft, 2nd Eisenmann Race). There is nothing wrong with the parts, they are actually in excellent condition as you will see in the pics below. I've got the mod bug bad, and I want to try out another set up. Doing a full Dinan exhaust and Agency Power headers in the next few weeks, I'm hoping it will tie me over for the next year. After that, who knows, maybe Akropovic??? Ooooh!!!!
So on to the listing... I will disclose as much info as I can so nobody can come back and bite me in the ***. LOL.
I purchased this set up from a fellow board member earlier this year (Tony - eurocarfan). I installed the full exhaust in my car and used it for about 5 months (maybe 1500 miles if that), I don't drive my E60 M5 everyday. I was very happy with the performance and the sound, a deep throaty growl, not so high pitched like the Eisenmann Race and definitely not obnoxious as the Meisterschaft.
I never got around to install the headers as I couldn't make up my mind about doing the RDSport Tune with the headers. At the end, time passed and now I want something different. I installed back my OEM Section 1 & 2 and Dinan Free Flow mufflers (waiting to get the Dinan section 1 & 2 in the following weeks), and then get the Agency Power headers after that.
There are a total of 7 pieces to this set up, each one is in very good condition. There is no rust whatsoever, no dings at all on the cans and the tail pipes are in mint condition with no damage or scrapes from the ground. Each component part has the Racing Dynamics plate welded onto the part which proves authenticity and date of production. What I love best about this exhaust set up is the high quality craftsmanship and weight savings - they are the lightest cans I've seen so far (comparing Meisters, Eisens, Dinans). BTW, Supersprint's and Evosport's craftsmanship is crap, horrendous welds, nasty-***!
When I purchased this set up, section 1 & 2 were connected with a U-bolt clamp and section 2 & 3 mufflers were spot welded. And some nasty *** hangers (rusty, non-stainless) were welded onto the muffler brackets and used to install the mufflers to the car which tweaked the rubber hangers and causing them to fail prematurely - basically a hack job by the shop that installed them previously. I had since undone this travesty by grinding off the unsightly spot welds and nasty *** hangers, purchased the correct RDSport Stainless steel hanger set ($299.00) and stainless steel band clamps to make the section 1-2 and 2-3 connections. Now, everything needed to install this set up is as it should be, 100% stainless steel, 100% bolt-on, no welding needed.

Dude seriously you should get the RPI Full GT Exhaust system next. You won't get another exhaust for the M5 ever again. And get the RPI Headers if you can afford them too!
