Finally posting some pics

Hi folks, I joined a while ago, and bought my beast back in December last year. i never actually got around to posting any pics - and since let's face it, a thread is pointless without pics ( ), I thought I'd post up a couple of shots I took while out on a recent drive......

The beast is a completely stock 1999 model. Avus blue with black/grey leather sports interior with aluminium trim. I'm contemplating doing the steering wheel upgrade and perhaps Tubi exhausts - the problem with the latter being the strict rules in Switz regarding originality of cars and passing a two-year recurring test. I need to find out more before "pulling the trigger" on a set. Any other Switzers know about that??

Cheers all.

Ade.

Hi athM5

Nice pictures with a great scenery Is this above Montreux?

About the Tubi & "testing all 2 years" --> With the regular version you are not going to have any probs, they are not very loud @ idle, almost like stock. I know several people who never had any probs with it.

Best regards from Grenchen

Yep, the pic was taken just above Vevey, only up the road from Montreux. Well spotted! A lovely part of the world, although the weather wasn't really our friend that day. Nor today either actually

That is really good news about the Tubi's, thanks a lot. I was hoping that might be the case, I just did not want to fork out the cost for them and find out afterwards.

Never been to Grenchen, although I think I've driven through it!!
