Just got my beast!!!! (Interlagos Blue)

Hello all,

I have been looking at this board for some time and finally decided to get an M5. I previously had 2003 M5 and then 2005 M3 Competition package. I was a bit sceptical about SMG but after reading many posts here decided that I was finally sold on it.

I bought a car from an e-bay seller with 4000 mi. Car is in perfect condition and in my opinion Interlagos Blue is the best color. Sorry all my cars were blue, just my preference. I had this car delivered to me from Florida so I needed to get a PA inspection, I live outside of philadelphia closes dealer is Thompson BMW( the worst possible service and sales department but it 5 mi away from my house). So here is my experience with them; I brought in my car for a state inspection which is ok and they told me that the car did not have enough oil, I said ok to fill it up. I also could not find my bluetooth card with the code and asked them to retreive the code for me from TCU. After they asked me if I bought my car through them, to which I said no and they said they can not get the code. After couple minutes a service rep came out and said it will cost me $50. I was baffled, so I said no. Today I called Flemington BMW and had a sat radio instaled and when I asked them about the code the told be you can put any code in and their advice was free. As I was paying for my inspection, I was charged $13.oo for oil and when I asked a service manager they said, oh its a mistake our parts deparment makes all the time and gave me 2 l for free. Well enought about this terrible experience with them, never again.

The car is awesome and I love SMG.

Congrats, IB is the fastest color. Watchout for bad car syndrome. The car will always want to take the longest way to get somewhere
