Just tried Zymol Atlantique - it's great!

Had a few free hours today so I thought I'd treat the beast. After the usual wash, I did the following:

(1) Meguairs Quik Clay - to remove stuck on contaminants
(2) Zymol HD Cleanse - to deep clean & prepare the paint
(3) 3M Imperial Hand Glaze - to enrich the colour and mask any swirls
(4) Zymol Atlantique - to feed & protect
(5) Zymol Field Glaze - for that final gleem

Here are a few pictures I took that speak for themselves

Sure it's bit expensive and a lot of hard work but well worth it IMHO

Re: Just tried Zymol Atlantique - it's great!

Very nice!!! I just gave mine a good waxing last weekend, using Maguires yellow #26. I was wondering what to use to really bring out the shine agian, I have a 2002 view "my pics". Anyway, thanks for the input.

Do you use a buffer? I do my waxing by hand . Did you go from one process to the next? Anyway, any additional input would be great! I have one small scratch at the right rear I need to get out as well, any thoughts?

Thanks!

Re: Just tried Zymol Atlantique - it's great!

The five step process I mentioned above will really bring out the shine. The key steps are the preparation (1&2) which make applying everything else so much easier and the results much better. The 3M stuff is great and deepening the colour of Carbon and really brings out the subtle variations in shade.

I do mine all by hand and all in one go. Once you HD Cleanse, you must apply a glaze otherwise you have to start all over again next time.

Depending on the size & depth of the scratch, it may be able to hide it using my 5 step process. If it's large you'll need a touch-up or respray of the affected panel.
