B7, B8, B10 and B12 5.7 + some M`s

Thought I should share some nice pictures with you all..

This is a picture of a quite rare ALPINA, this car was bought by my father directly at ALPINA as a new car in 1977 and this was one of the first build B8 based on the 5-series.
The price was more than twice the price of a stock 528i.
I bought the car back in 1988 and made a 100% overhaul of the complete car. Everything was new.
It was great fun on the tracks and even beat M3 sport Evo III and M5 on the track.

"Beuty and the beast"

This picture was taken during a vacation with both our B7 Coupe and the 850 CSI just before the 850 was imported to Norway.
The B7 easily walked away from the CSI on some nice high speed pulls.

A crazy project I decided to build after reading about the anniversery M3 Compact that was build by BMW.
The car was build from an 316 Compact and everything was changed. That car was dangerous and very fast.
To my opinion, the ultimate sleeper.

1365 kg and 321 + Hp gave a healthy acceleration and a tested topspeed off app 287 kph. ( 12.6 sec@1000 flying meters )

AC Schnitzer M Coupe RS

This was my latest M car, by far the best handling car I have ever encountered.

ALPINA B10 Bi Turbo.
My latest ALPINA, my first and maybe last ever 300 kph run.

ALPINA B12 5.7 with only 22 000 km.

ALPINA B12 5.7

ALPINA B12 5.7 interior

Belongs to a friend, what can I say..... the car is fantastic..........

Wow Erik that is a fantastic collection of rare BMW and Alpina

How come your father got such a early contact with Alpina? I mean Norway isn't Alpina's main market in the late 70s. I am also very impressed that the B7 is no 001. How did you manage to do that? I assume you have contacts at Alpina.

I've been drooling over your pics in the gallery thanks for compiling them with soem history

The B12 has a fantastic interiour. My taste, if it is colour Champagner?

Thanks again.

Thanks for the nice complements.

Yes the M Coupe is fantastic, I have a lot more pics of the car but I dont have enough space to post them......

Gustav
How he managed to get the 0001 i dontknow, but the contact with APINA was established mid 70 when he was there with his 3.0 si.
He originaly put in an order for the B2 with 230 Hp based on the 528, but then the 528i came onto the marked and he got a message from ALPINA that he had to take the B8 instead.. .

In 1981 ge got the B9 3.5, so the contact with ALPINA has been good for many years. That probably helped him to get the #0001 show car.......( used on IAA )

Wow. I can't beleive hwo fast the B7 is. It's unbeleivable, esp. that aerodynamic shape.

Erik, I have doubled your upload limit now.

Very nice cars Erik!
I guess I can say that BMW and Alpina runs in your blood.

I've seen the video of the B7Turbo running away from your MCoupe at high speed. Stunning!

Cheers,
Taffy
