Thanks everybody for the nice welcome.

I'm enjoying the vehicle very much, i've got a couple muscle cars and trucks so this is a nice change of pace for me without sacrificing the power.

I'm trying to figure out what to do with the rear mufflers, I did notice they were not stock but wanted to see if they were upgraded. But I think and I could be wrong, that a lot of people do the muffler delete on these cars. I think this one probably had that and then when the car went to the dealer or the auction in order to sell the car they slapped on these fart cans. They look like maybe stocks from a different model???

Should i just go ahead and do the muffler delete? I'd like to hear a little noise come out of the car every once in awhile.

So I took care of the autozone looking mufflers and took the car to the muffler man today.

BEFORE PICS

Went with the straight pipes and got some tips.

AFTER PICS

BTW the car sounds wonderful!!! Straight pipes FTW unless you can afford the expensive stuff of course, lol

I'll take another good look, the tips go up a little so it could be my angle of the camera too.

I need to read the tutorial on how to take good pics!

Welcome aboard and congrats on your new beast, that's definitely one of the best color combos for the E39 M5
