Ac Schnitzer M5

Today was one of my luckiest day of my life.

I'll drove on the highway at 270 km/h from one second to another my left back tyre bursted.

The DSC and myself we had much to catch the car to keep the car on the street an nearly all controllights where flashing.

After a few kms the car was slowed down enough that I could take the next exit from the highway and appease my heartbeat. My next way was to get on a parking place to inspect the damage. The car had nearly no damage only small scratches in the fender, but the rim was crooked an the the tyre was in a catastrophal condition. After that I determined that this car had saved my live and now I know that my next, my next and my next car will be a BMW M5.

So I've to look for new rims but this time I'll prefer tacking 19" because the ride is much better as with 20".

Probably the next ones will come from HRE wheels or does someone have other proposals.

Crap! That must have been scary!
I have often wondered how difficult it would be to control the car if a tire blows at those speeds. It doesn't sound like it was too difficult?

It's not as easy as it sounds.

First thing to do is don't do brutally maneuver like braking or steering.

Second thing try to keep the car straight and let the car slow down from itself never brake or change gear.
