2000 Silverstone gets Facelift - (Bandwidth Hog)

After deciding there wasn't anything I was interested in switching my daily driver for, I decide to give it a facelift so it looks good for it's 10th birthday next year.

Here's what's changed:

New front bumper
Vorsteiner CF hood
New headlights
New tail lights
De-badged (inc Dinan)
Removed rear lip spoiler
Removed front fog lamps - custom grills
Removed headlight washer jets
New kidney grills - painted gloss outer edge and flat on the slats
Gloss black roof
Painted body molding
Clear bra
Tinted windows

Bodywork done by RJ of RJ's in Pleasanton, clear bra and tint done by Vincent at Omega Werks also in Pleasanton.

Shameless plug for the guys that did a great job.

Now for the body shots! Enjoy....

the painted GILLS & MOLDING throw it off IMO

if it didn't have the molding it'd probably be fine as a solid color

I can honestly say there isn't 1 thing about your car's exterior that I like. Well scratch that, at least there's no raw carbon fiber....

to each his own.

very "clean look" I like the shaved headlight washers, the black touches look good on the silverstone.. (my grills are silverstone) but with the black roof and black grills.. I think the black trim would be welcomed.

very clean machine. congrats!

Very clean looks. Like the painted Vorsteiner Hood. The only thing I think is a little too much are the black kidneys. They look a little too "obvious". Looks better on a dark car. Otherwise very nice job.

u have made it simpler yet sophisticated. the debadging and new moldings (no M) make it cleaner. the front bumper gives off a sport lux look. the hood gives an aggressive touch but fully painted makes it slicker which is nice. new lights were a great choice, really transforms a preface. i understand the black grills match the black roof but it might not be enough of a reference because it sticks out a little bit. the brakes also really reflect ur car: making something very aggressive more slick by making it subtle. i know i would prefer more contrast but ur car looks great. not necessarily my exact flavor but that's what's great or else everyone's car would look the same. hope to see ur car at a tri-state meet

the front bumper looks like it's from a sport and not an M5. The T bar in the lower grille gives it away
