Just took delivery of a 2002 M5 last Saturday. Chiaretto Red with Caramel interior. M individual audio & fold-down seats. 49,600 miles. It's actually funny because I was not too impressed with it on my first test drive (this is coming from an E46 330Ci)! Now, the more I drive it, the more I love it! Too bad it's my good weather/weekend/toy car . Things to do: window tint, rear door vapor barriers, cooling system overhaul, Inspection 2, MarkIV swap, a new steering wheel, etc...
congrats man. That's a cool very rare color, but I'm sure you already knew that. I did see this car for the first time on the autotrader listings on Saturday actually. Well, safe driving and enjoy in good head.
P.S.: You didn't waste anytime before hardwiring it did you? I had a V1 for some time, now I'm taking a RedLine out for a test, so far so good.
