They usually go for about $1600 in their simplest configuration (single-sided CF). It doesn't come painted, of course.

Killer stance Garrett. I'd stay with the 'M'. She looks very finished and show-worthy. Any other plans for the car?

I don't know why everyone sweats the CSL wheels, I think they're one of the ugliest wheels BMW ever used...

Garrett,

IMHO if youre gonna change your roundels to black/white or black/grey in the wheels you should change them on your hood/trunk. If you keep the ///M center caps keep your current hood/trunk roundels. Just my $.02

I just picked up a 7 piece set of cfiber blue/white roundels. I got the wrong size caps but when I get them exchanged Ill post pix.

Hdhntr23,

Yeah I agree...for now I'll leave the colored ///M center caps and everything else...and if I do decide to change to black/gray theme every single badge or logo/roundel would need to be changed to all match. Yeah post some pics up of your new CF badges when you get them on, where did you buy them from and how is the quality? Do they have black/silver CF as an option? And I assume they are complete replacements?

Mfreakin5,

Haha...Wow you really hate CSL wheels huh? I think most would agree they are nothing too special but do have a clean motorsport BMW look...These are ultimately going to be a second back up set when I go back with the LM's.

Lancefitzgiben,

Thanks, yeah haven't fooled with securing the etched M5 Whalen knob but will find time for that soon, right now I'm pretty happy with the brushed aluminum Bimmian knob.

As for the center caps, I like the custom look of the gloss black ///M center caps better than the factory roundels for now, but am of course open to suggestions.

Yes complete replacements. The only one thats iffy is the steering wheel. Its a sticker but its full CFiber with a glue backing that they say goes over the stock one. The other 6 are totally replaced.

Heres a link for the guy I found. Easy to work with. He has e39 stuff thats not listed. (like the set I wanted) Yes they have black/sliver, or black/white Im not sure of which but I do know they have one or the other.

Quality is outstanding I think. They even sent replacement rubber/plastic grommets for both the trunk and hood.

Ill create a thread with pix once I get those exhanged. Rookie mistake on my part. He asked what size center caps I needed and of course I said the wrong size. For those wondering stock wheels are 70MM center caps.
