New to the E39 M5

Hello all,

Well I just recently bit the bullet and picked up a 2003 M5. I have been wanting a M5 for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger. I am pretty happy to say the least! This is such a fantastic car. Fit and finish is outstanding as well as the subtle but aggressive looks. The car's power is just down right smooth and is deceivingly quick compared to my Mustang's shear power delivery.

Anyways, here are a couple pics of both cars. I havent got any decent pics of the M5 yet, just a couple I have snapped with the phone.

It does have exhaust, suspension, and the Dinan air intakes.

The Mustang

The mustang has been a long work in progress and is currently under the knife again for another engine build. It is a 1999 Mustang GT with a built bottom end, cnc ported heads, blower cams, front mount intercooler, Paxton Novi 2000 supercharger pullied for 18-20lbs of boost, big fuel system, etc etc. I am hoping to see around the 650rwhp+ mark out of this set up.

Anyways, these are my two ladies!

Nice to meet you all,

Richard

Nice, I just scooped mine up as well! You have to have one of each IMO. Theres nothing like the brute force/driving experience of an American V8 sports/muscle car.

On the flip side, there is something to be said for German muscle and engineering. I love, and all of my friends love cruising around in the M5. It flys under the rader, but stands out to those in the know.

Congrats and welcome to the E39 Family. This board is ridiculously helpful when it comes to doing things yourself.

Congrats on the pickup. That mustang is sick, must fly. I've got a buddy with a TT '04 Cobra and it is unreal. He's building up a new motor, goal is 1000+ whp! So yea, fast mustangs are awesome.
