I'll translate for you!

I think he means he's can't stand all this 'talent' show crap that we're getting in place of proper TV programming in the UK - I agree BTW it's a waste of prime time TV slots

We've got crap like Pop Idol, American Idol, Fame Academy, Celebrity Pop Idol, Celebrity Fame Academy, Celebrity Fat Club, Celebrity Most Talented Animal, Fat Club, Big Brother, Britain's Got Talent, Castaway, Survivor, Dance X, Dancing on Ice, Strictly Come Dancing, etc.

It's not like they put it on 'alternative' channels either, it's on the 5 'big' channels - one or two shows might be 'bearable' but it seems to be every night!

If I want to become that brain dead I'll start listening to what Bush says

LMAO here, Mmm-Five. I don't watch much TV nowadays, but that's a show I'd likely tune in just to see "all of the shakin' goin' on". Though I've never experienced an earthquake first hand, I tend to think that I wouldn't mind seeing one of that variety, at least for laugh's sake .
