Remember: this is as much for you members as a help: if a Sponsor does not do a good job you can take it up to discussion if he should be placed here.
I think this gives power to the consumer in a good way and it is also a way for customers to see which companies to trust.

Gustav,
After being involved with forums for 10 years, I predict this plan will cause problems. This same approach produced unintended results and failed on prominent Corvette forum and Saleen mfr forums. Primary sponsors were continually flogged, as non-sponsors did not see similar abuse.
Highlighting consumer service or advertizing squabbles strictly related to sponsors will ultimately hurt this forum. This penalty process essentially threatens companies who become financially involved with M5board. Why not smack down companies who never offered a penny for sponsorship with equal or even greater force? Why should they be immune to public flogging just because they did not become sponsors? Magnifying or highlighting consumer issues with sponsors would seem to discourage companies from becoming sponsors when it places them at a distinct disadvantage with statistically-distorted negative post count and your highlighting efforts. A large company with thousands of happy customers could be severely hurt/damaged by a couple disgruntled customers. Is this the objective? Dinan got negative exposure over a rebate mixup, just as they became interested in sponsorship. When Dinan representatives tried to address questions they were swarmed upon by a handful of folks, as the satisfied Dinan customers sit silently. This can create a very distorted perception when customer satisfaction percentage is unknown. I felt that public attack was inappropriate and unfair.
I think sponsors should get equal or perhaps even special treatment. Juvenile members occasionally use this board as a way to abuse or attack companies who support the forum. The board administration seems to be applauding or following that lead. IMO, there's a fine line between a black list and black mail. I sincerely hope your sponsors see this differently.
