His posts do not add any value to the M5board community, and long-time, and new members, do not benefit from his postings and offerings.

I would strongly suggest adding Powerchip, and Wayne Besanko, to the Vendor Black List.
Second that.

We can always check our local Better Business Bureau (at least in the U.S.) for complaint history. There, complaints are private unless a mediator is unable to resolve the complaint.

You might consider mediating complaints before airing them - but that's a lot of work. Maybe it's better to just kill this thread. There might be legal questions about libel.
Totally Agree, LSCMAN saw the writting on the wall in 2007.

What happend to Moderators stepping in early?

They key was the ones that "don't deserve a bad rep." Powerchip do to all their mishandling as well as downright dishonest acts don't fall under that category.

Presumption of Innocence.

Hi JChurch,

They are pretty strong words. I have had some PM's about how in America you value Free Speech. There is also another thing in America called,
The Presumption of Innocence. Meaning Innocent Until PROVEN Guilty.

I have seen a lot and read a lot. But I see no proof of anything other than some customers who thought they deserved a refund, and didn't get it.

Don't assume you know all of the facts, when they have been covered up, and with held deliberately. The Truth is out there. It is also known to quite a few people. Be careful who you tie you wagon to, because things are rearly what they seem to be. The truth is frequently stranger than fiction.

I am not assuming I know more than what I have read on this forum and from various other forms. If a company refuses to return the deposit on the cable they ship to their customers after it has been returned to powerchip, that is not only unethical, but also illegal. Furthermore, if someone sells me a product that does not function as advertised, you have better believe that I and hopefully all consumers would want their money back. I am not a fan of abusing businesses, but if the business doesn't act in a proper manner(honorably, supporting their product, and without resulting to childish tactics such as when a member wants to try a different tune) they deserve to have all their so called dirty laundry aired. I notice that you made reference to the cost of an M5 in AU dollars and that the powerchip cost would be an insignificant cost compared to the overall price paid for the car. You also referenced that your powerchip product did work as advertised. What would have happened had your car been prone to stalling every so often while you were racing? I would like to hope that you would be a bit like the people who have had similar experiences and let people know about it. Most people are in search of what they feel to be right versus merely in it for the money. All the businesses that I have continually used have always been friendly and made me feel like not just a customer, but somewhat of a friend. How would you feel if a friend wronged you? I personally wouldn't like it. I do understand where you are coming from and I guess that we disagree on whether or not the response of the board was appropriate.

Lastly, go All Blacks joking, I'm a Wallabies fan. I mean I have to support where my family is from right
