Hmm, that is from "Die Untergang", a splendid movie. See it without incorrect subtitles Very good movie that really captures the last days of the Third Reich.

That sounds like the DVD I bought a while back, in english (US title), it's called 'DownFall'. I haven't watched it yet, I'm scared of a depressing film. I want guns, battles, and more guns, with humour and a totally unrealistic storyline. Just give me big budget hollywood crap, please.
This version is absolutely hilarious! Very amusing!

Finally watched the film last night, Gustav. It was great! I enjoyed it very much. Not at all as gruesome and 'down' (depressing) as I thought it might be. Nor was it 'over the top', as they say. Even though I knew the outcome and story, it still kept me on the edge of my seat.
And the guy who played Gobbels! Wow! That's one scary looking mofo! Just like Gobbels was. That actor..was the perfect man for the job.
Awesome film.
And those SS black leather trenchcoats. Wow! the most perfect trenchcoats I've ever laid eyes on. Damn, they are absolutely perfect, to this day. Still the best design, ever. It was the one that Speer had on, that was the perfect one. If I could get that cut, I'd actually wear a trenchcoat. I suspect that particular design does not go over well in Germany, still...to this day. But here, in North America, it means nothing. It has no common or known connection to anything.
