Computer experts, How can I clear my history footprints......

        Hey Guys,
Everytime I log onto the google web site to look for something, I realize that my entire history of word searchs are still embedded in the search screen, if I click my mouse in the screen, it brings down a drop box, showing me ALL of my past inquiries and searches. What can I do to erase/clear this , as its so annoying to say the least! Last, I can not find a clear history option, menu, button, tab to click on, if you know what I mean.
        Thanks your your reply.
        Robert

You can actually just hit the delete button on the entries you'd like to eliminate.

If you're wanting to delete all at one time:

To delete Autocomplete entries from the Address bar list
The AutoComplete feature saves previous entries you've made for Web addresses, forms, and passwords. To delete entries from the Address bar, you must clear your History folder. You cannot clear individual entries from the list of saved entries.
        1. On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options.
        2. Click the General tab.
        3. Under History, click Clear History.
        Notes
        • When typing information in Web forms, and typing passwords, you can remove an item from the list of suggestions by clicking the item and then pressing the DELETE key.
        • For Help on an item, click http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/ms-...m::/cshelp.gif at the top of the dialog box, and then click the item.

I've been using CCleaner, I haven't heard any problems with it yet.
Seems to speed things up some.
I don't have a porn problem, Disney has more crud then you can imagine.

Try it, clear the machine and then spend time with the kid/s on the Disney.com. There are so many cookies if you even look at one of the games.

Or do you mean the porn?

        www.lavasoft.de

Download Ad-Aware SE Personal for free.

It will clear the Google Toolbar and History and just about everything else if you want it to.

You could search the regisrty for google entries (MRU and internet explorer recent stuff). Not recommanded though because messing with it the wrong way will cause errors.
