He certainly knows his stuff, but
1) Never wash a car in the sun
2) always start with the wheels
I think 10k GBP is utter crap for the work on display though. If thats what its worth, a lot of people owe me 10k then!

I read about that wax in this month's Modified Luxury & Exotics. Zymol Royale Glaze. Was originally formulated for the Bugatti Royale (6 manufactured). 70% Brazilian No.1 White Carnauba by volume. $7500!!! BUT...the container is refilled for life at no charge.
I agree with Sebring. Aside from the cost of his equipment, what the heck does this guy do that's so special that is worth $10K??? From what I've seen, Erich Lipinski does a much more thorough job...

Yes this guy was featured on the last series of Fifth Gear - A UK car program.
Seems like a nice scam to me and I would be interested in if the owners could tell the difference between a cleaning by Wout and my self at a very reasonable rate and one of his $10k washes.
I know that a large amount of the cost is due to the wax that he uses but to me seems a quite riduculous amount of money to spend on a wash and wax.
Wout and I can do an international service for half the price
Prices
$6000 for a wash and wax
$5000 for cash................

there's no such thing as a wonder wax.
I don't believe in this carnuba thing. One can make wax as greasy as it gets by use of synthetic particles. I have blended my own wax for years but I would be seriously surprised if any wax will show a better result.
May sound arrogant, but I don't really care. I have never charged anybody a dime for a polishing job, simply because I like making statements, taking challenges and having pride in a well-polished car. As soon as money would become an element, I would lose interest soon.
Let this man wax a brand new, unused MC12 to his best, then I will wax my 20 year old Ascona to its best and we'll see..
