Peugeot unveils 700+ hp diesel-powered LMP Coupe

Note: The LMP1 rules heavily favor diesel in P1 rather than gasoline.

        Max displacement for a turbocharged diesel-powered P1: 5.5 liters

        Max displacement for a turbocharged gasoline-powered P1: 4.0 liters

        Max displacement for a n/a gasoline-powered P1: 6.0 liters

        The 908 V12 HDi DPFS.

Peugeot is building their own monocoque while Dallara builds the Audi R10 TDi's monocoque.

Hopefully that will give the La Mans a little more drama in the P1 class.
