Opinions on best car magazine?
Looking to get a subscription for a quality car mag. Millions of them out there, lots of them just trash. Tired of MT and C&D. Any suggestions?

2 suggestions:
European Car - chock full of info/tests about Euro cars and tons of info on aftermarket mods for those cars. Best of all - NO TRUCKS!!
Winding Road - FREE online subscription at www.windingroad.com and it's cleverly delivered monthly online; allowing you to select articles/turn pages on your computer screen. Founded by David E. Davis. Excellent photos and articles/tests from around the globe.
Just my 2 cents.............

When I am in Italy I read many of the mags available there and they are quite good....better in fact than C/D...R&T...M/T in my opinion. However for someone here in the states they really don;t apply for many reasons...I happen to like Autoweek for the newsworthy things in the industry going on. They don;t get too in depth but do cover the heart of the stories and they are broad scoped.........also European Car is great for the model specific stuff.
Regards
MCar

Thanks for the suggestions. I was thinking about Evo, but for us Yankees, it would cost almost $140 bucks for a one year subscription.
European Car looks good.
Anything else?

The biggest problem with all car mags is theres always 49% cars and car journalism + 51% adverts.

For US publications, I prefer AutoWeek over the monthly rags. Of the monthlys I like Automobile.

I get: EVO
Car
Octane
For domestic mags I like Autoweek, and Automobile. I also like Winding Road. Subscribed to Total 911 because Sabine Schmitz has had a detailed series about driving the Nurburgring.
