        Experiences with Amtrak Auto Train?

I am heading down to Fla this week and I thought I would love to have my car down there but I dont want to put the miles on it driving all the way from CT. I heard about the Auto Train, it would be cheaper for me to put my car on the train and I wouldn't have to drive.
Has anyone used this and if so do you have any tips?

Always difficult to hand over the keys to a complete stranger, same reason I don't ever valet the car. It'll prolly cost @ $500.

I heard its pretty good, they have an insurance company oversee the loading and unloading of the cars.
