R10, RML Lola/AER, Corvette C6-R, Panoz win at Le Mans

Emanuele Pirro, Frank Biela, and Marco Werner took the overall win at the 74th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in their # 8 Audi R10 TDi.

From the Le Mans test day



Thomas Erdos, Mike Newton, and Andy Wallace won the LMP2 class with their # 25 RML AER-powered Lola. RML won the LMP2 class last year with Judd power.



Oliver Gavin, Olivier Beretta, and Jan Magnussen won their third-straight GT1 (GTS in 2004) victory with their # 64 Chevrolet Corvette C6-R.

From the Le Mans test day



Team LNT's Lawrence Tomlinson, Richard Dean, and Tom Kimber-Smith took the GT2 lead with around one hour and won with a one-lap victory with their Panoz Esperante GTLM.

An all-new Radical SR9 finished 5th in P2. The car hadn't completed a race in either of the first two Le Mans Series races.

They had led the P2 class at the 3 hour mark.

Van der Steur Racing will race a new Radical SR9 in the final two ALMS races which will be Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta and Laguna Seca.
