Beer snob discussion

i am a bit of a bear "snob" so the beer isn't cheap. right now i am enjoying schwelmer 'bernstein' and am also loving the pale ale from stoudts - which is an amazing brewery imho.

i will do it in the morning when the sun is to my back, the anthracite we have used in the past is not too black. that is the problem with most of the darker grey anthracite choices - they appear black at night and are still dark in the daylight. this anthracite has a tiny spec of copper flake in it - not dissimilar to the BSM color in broad daylight.

i will get the best shots i can on my wheels tomorrow. we have plenty of time after we order to specify colors.

i am working through a few weihenstephaner dark hefeweissbier's but i do think the KS is better. i like the Tucher also but the bananna taste gets to me after a while.

ironically, i have realy grown to love the domestic MB's - especially anything from stoudts and dogfish head. i find stoudts to be the best i have found yet and i think it holds up to the best from across the pond - and that is a bold statement.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but wow, I need to try some of these. There's a Stoudts distributor about 40 min drive from me so I guess I'll check that out. Thanks for the recommendations.

Have you tried Boont's? They are an Alexander Valley MB (yes, also a great wine valley). They have three or four brews that are pretty unreal, including their Amber Ale.

Thanks
Brad
