Outlook Express is part of the OS, but is Outlook also part of the OS?

I know people use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer because IE is part of the OS just like Outlook Express, but is Outlook part of the OS?

While I am at it, what is a good anti-virus program? Norton? Does it even matter?

How's the firewall in SP2? A firewall that's too good at blocking would a pain to deal with. What's a good firewall?

Last question: I use Spy Sweeper by Webroot, is that a good program? What's a good spyware program?

Thanks everybody in advance.

Outlook is not part of the OS.. it is addon.. part of Microsoft Office.

I use and like Norton personally.

The firewall.. well, its decent. I don't like that you cannot control outbound traffic from your system. Meaning spyware, etc are free to open connections to the Internet. And many default MS ports are still open. For firewall, I use Kerio.

I have heard about one tool and downloaded it. To my great surprise the software could work out my old troubles. Above it the program would be usable for solving any composite proposition in my opinion - extract messages from dbx.
