thinking of buying a new E60 525d

i am thinking of buying a new 525d and i was wondering if alpina or AC scnitzer do tuning for that engine? I would like to increase the power and torque to 530d standards. i think ACS do a tuning package for the 530d. i want to increase power without voiding the warranty.

also is the logic speaker system worth £355 or should i get an aftermarket system? im not getting sat nav or tv, can i install these features afterwards with aftermarket stuff?

the car will be black with grey leather. i do like auburn leather in the brocure but i have never seen it. can someone post pics please?

also i will keep the standard wheels because they dont like any other BMW wheels. can someone post pics of E60's with aftermarket wheels? atleast 18"

wow logic7 only costs 355 Quid? here in holland its a 2200 euro option

No sat or tv, in an E60.... - resale will kill it!!

It is a modern day car, where sat nav/tv are the norm, after market options for an E60-- hmm don't know if they will integrate fully with the i-Drive etc.

I guess this is a purchase for a purpose - definitely go for the better sound system.... journey-time will be longer then in an M5...

Go with as many creature comforts as feasible.... sat nav/tv if at all poss...

I VERY brief browsing of this forum will show you several examples. In fact, there was one just the other day with 20 inch Alpina wheels.

If your car is under warranty, Im pretty sure it will void the warrenty if you do any engine modifications to it, I know I cant touch my Volvo's engine untill my 100'000 km warranty is over. I dont know what BMW's policy is about this, but I know some manufacturers will not you do it.

Why don't you get the 530d? There you have a great diesel engine with a lot of power and you don't need the tuning kit..

I have to agree with Landy; go for the 530d - a much better car.
