Nokia 6230 or SonyEricsson T630

After almost loosing intereest in nice phones after the awful NEC E606 3G-phone Im going to buy a regular GSM phone. Finally Nokia have got a nice looking phone with Bluetooth.

Here are two reviews

http://www.mobile-review.com/preview...-6230-en.shtml

and the T630:

Im pretty convinced to choose the Nokia, having had Nokia since the 2110. Could somebody convince me o have another one? Whatbout Samsungs etc? I dont like clamshell phones.

I'd also go with the Nokia All of my cellular phones have been Nokia's. They can take up excessive hit without breaking

I'd say go for the 6230 too. I am currently waiting for it to debut so I can get rid of my T68i. I guess the NEC didn't serve you well?

Re: Nokia 6230 or SonyEricsson T630

No the3G phone was horrible. Not possible to send SMS between international carriers (network error though, not the phone also call hung up from handover from a 3G network to a 2G network) and the battery time was below all critisism, phone was too big, interface was bad and it was ugly as well. Cool to e-mail movies though from hit. Big dissapointment.

Re: Nokia 6230 or SonyEricsson T630

I have the Siemens S55. I don't care for a camera in my phone (crappy quality no matter what, I carry a Pentax Optio S4 with me) and the S55 is available now for a good price. The Nokia 6230 and SE T630 are not available yet and will be very pricey when they're launched. I have a Pocket PC as my PDA so I just need a phone with Bluetooth and no other fancy bits.

Re: Nokia 6230 or SonyEricsson T630

I was thinking of getting the 6230 for myself as well. I have a PowerBook (with iSync) and want to get a Bluetooth equipped phone. I don't care about camera, etc. I just want a good phone, with good interface, color, good reception, good build quality, etc.

Is the Nokia 6230 the way to go? I really don't know much about Nokias. I have a 6100 that I used in Europe this past summer and I was happy with it (except the build quality... felt very cheap and breakable).

Also, will the 6230 be available in the US? And if not, can I get it somewhere and have it be unlocked straight from the manufacturer, and how much will it cost?
