Can any EUROPEAN member familiar with "modern music" tell me why........

the modern rock group known as "SUEDE" of:
does not come over to the United States? I am very familiar with their music and actually enjoy listening to them. I was turned on to this band by my young sister, who loves the SUEDE band. She always is asking around, why the group doesn't play venues in areas such as New York City (Manhattan) or even California.
Los Angles is Freeeeak Central and Im sure Suede would sell out night after night playing there.
I feel they would do very well playing in NYC, so why do they not have their concerts here. I realize the "heart-land" areas of the states would not care for Suede's music or overall sound/style, but the coastal areas, LA and NYC have people that enjoy "Euro" style rock music.
I thought someone might answer this with a detailed explaination, so I could convey the info. to little sister. Thus far, she has never been able to get a clear answer to the question.
        Thank you!
        Robert

I think it has to do with the recordcompanies and if they want to promote the band Suede in the States. Could be that they think it doesn't sell well enough on the other side of the pond. The recordcompany has to feel that it will sell enough records after promoting and touring the band to justify all the costs of promoting the band. Or the band doesn't want to do the States. Could be a number of reasons. Maybe send an email to the website or their recordcompany? Good luck,
