        iRC room?

hey guys, I came up with an idea that might be a little cool and another great addition to m5board.com.

why don't we open an iRC channel on efnet like #m5board ?
I will be glad to start things up. I have several linux boxes and can set up any bots or what not. I am on iRC 24/7 and would I think it would be another great idea. Let me know

        Re: iRC room?

I have one set up on starlink.org. It was originally used for only a few E34 M5ers doing engine rebuilds, but since that has passed, it is open for all M5 chat...as it should be.

        Ok, its on starlink.org
the best server on starlink.org is: CricInfo.LO.UK.Starlink.Org
To get on IRC, for PC users, go to: http://www.mirc.com
for Mac users: go to: http://www.ircle.com
follow the directions about entering a nickname, and choosing the correct server (CricInfo.LO.UK.Starlink.Org).
After you are connected to the server, you want to join the channel by typing this: #BMWM5
and include the # infront of BMWM5

Its not busy at all and its probable the only user in there will be "Mars" which is a server bot and is there to help regulate and maintain the room. Eventually, moderators and such can be given access, but thats down the line....so just come on in and chat!rtsp://st21g1.services.att-idns.net/...dphones_300.rm
