OT: *Good* holiday gift web sites/ideas

Howdy all. After looking through the old watch thread that had been resurrected, it seems obvious that there are some people with some pretty decent taste out there. I know it's pretty late in the holiday buying season but, I'm having trouble coming up with decent gift ideas this year. I was wondering if you all had any *good* web sites or even ideas to recommend. Now, I can't afford to buy anyone a rolex but, I don't mind paying for quality. (I did, after all, buy an M5!)

To me "good" could mean different, interesting, luxurious, unique, expensive, well made, or any combination of these.

Can anyone help me out? What are some of your favorite web sites or ??

        Thanks and happy holidays,
        Greg

Well, if you are looking for some nice stuff, but also a bargin check out www.overstock.com. Some items are up to 50% off retail and they carry mostly brand name items. Got my dad a sony PDA, and my sis a Burberry scarf, both at really good prices.

        Hi.

If you are shopping for a lady, I would suggest a click from the Danish designer George Jensen.
The clock is very beautiful and I have bought one for my wife. She loves it. The design was commissiond to a designer who did not like to be restrained by time and even less by a "time-peace". Therefore the design is very "open".

Here is a link where you can see it: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/watches/georg-jensen/

        Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestions. My lady friend is a little more utilitarian (but, I hate to be too predictable). Any way, I have a girlfriend; a mother; various aunts, uncles, and cousins; and probably some others I've forgotten about to buy for. While I'm something of a procrastinator, I probably just work too **** much. I would imagine that some of you all can relate to this... It's good to have a 150+ mph release . . .
