Top Gear / Fifth Gear?

What's the difference between Top Gear and Fifth Gear shows? Top Gear has Jeremy Clarkson & co. and Tiff is in Fifth Gear...but wasn't Tiff some years ago in Top Gear with Jeremy?

I'm confused, can someone enlighten me?

Top Gear is a BBC program, Fifth Gear is a Channel 4 (or is it 5?) program. Top Gear still has Jeremy Clarkson and some other gits and Fifth Gear has Tiff who used to be on Top Gear.

The BBC was wanting to abondon the entire TopGear name/show etc leaving just the magazine around. This left V.B-H, Tiff etc without any television presenting jobs, while some were writing for car magazines such as AutoCar, before ITN the owner of channel five decided to start their own car programme.

Who were the best to take on? The ex-bbc TopGear crew. So, they did. I don't know what Clarkson was up to throughout this lot. This forced the BBC to bring the TopGear TV show back to life and so they did a year after Fifth Gear started.

Vic's is a cool person, but so is Tiff.

Top Gear is a lot better. They show and test new models coming out and have fun by letting celebrities drive round a track in Suzuki Liana.
