Ashok,

Even better. Someone burnt up a camera on the Wessex Way in Bournemouth ( probably near where Durt was illegally done ).

Police are very concerned because they can't sit on their asses doing nothing but actually have to do police work!

I hate those things, but I dont think that extreme needs to be taken. Just spray paint the front of it or something. Where I live, except for the red light cameras (which I do believe in, so many people run red lights in San Fran), those radar cameras are used passivly and dont give tickets, so they are great to measure 0-60 times, as long as you have a stopwatch handy.

I wonder how such a camera can cost 55000 pound, its just a good cam, a speed radar and a metal box.

And here in good old germany the citys are goin crazy, they set the limits of the radar units down, so they take a picture when u are only 1 or 2 kph to fast.
And they dont even deny that its only for making money. Mostly they say its for making the roads saver, but now they dont care, they just wanna make money, i could understand someone crashing those units when flashed with 51 kph in a 50 kph zone.

Same problem overhere where there are loads of cameras flashing, doing something about the safety on our roads... We even had een radiodj that was banned for a couple of weeks because he was encouraging people into breaking the cameras! I don't think they work for the safety on our roads, more filling pockets of the state... I know that at certain places it is neccesary that people slow down just for safety. Especially in city limits.
Take care, those cameras are everywhere!

Whatever happened to that site that sold electro-chromatic license plate covers? Could be useful...
