Does your Driving Style Upset your Wife?

Does your driving style upset your wife? I ask this because so many of my friend's moms criticize their husband's driving style. One friends mom won't sit in the front sit when his dad is driving

I've just asked her and she said it certainly does (which I knew of course). I take it as a compliment.

Regards,

Ufuk

You bet it does. You might say that my Beast brings out the "beast" in me. I prefer driving solo for that reason (unless of course a fellow enthusiast is riding with me).

I don't know that... Always when I start to drive (really) fast she closes her eyes and doesn't react anymore untill I slow down.
But usually (means that I just drive fast) she's not scared or upset, she's a brave girl

A more appropriate question would be; What do you do that does not upset your wife?

My fiance usually gets upset but she is used to it I think. We were together when we were 16 and I first got my hands on my 79 Z28 after i had spent 2 years working on it. Good times in that car but I think she got used to some really sketchy things happening and doesnt seem to mind. Just the other day I was full throttle in my sierra at 120 and climbing and she was searching through her purse and asked me if i wanted a stick of gum....

My ex never really said a thing about how i drove, until she asked why every once in awhile I needed to look through the passenger side window to see where I was going (she was a little vain and must have thought I was looking at her ). Finally I took some time to explain the physics behind pitching the back end of a car out, and what countersteer means and does, etc. After she had a better understanding of what it meant, she would hear tire noise and start screaming "oh my god, you are going to kill us," so yeah, I got a lot of comments after that...I should have kept my mouth shut and told her she is just imagining things
