UK Members - please sponsor me....

My codriver & I are team number 7 in this year's Great Ormond Street Driving Challenge.

We need to raise a minimum of £1000 for this worthy charity (that's 50 people at £20 each).

Here's the link for the official event website:
        http://www.gosh.org/events/driving_challenge/index.html

Would you please sponsor me? Please send a cheque for whatever amount you wish (payable to "Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity") to me at the following address:

        Ashok Arora
        P O Box 1110
        London W3 7ZB

I will post a full story with pics after the event. Please send me a PM is you have any questions/comments.

        Many thanks in advance

I was originally thinking of cutting across a few farmers' fields - don't think anyone would notice at 4am; only problem is getting stuck in the French mud in November...

        Ashok Arora-

I would love to help but between school and car (sent me back $500 ) i can't help. But it is great that you are doing it for a charity. Could you tell me a little more about the charity that the money is going to? I hope you and your codriver do very well.

        Chris:

Great Ormond Street is one of the world's leading childrens' hospitals.

This is the link that tells you more info:

        http://www.gosh.org/about_us/index.html

        Here are some interesting facts:

        - Charles Dickens organised the hospital's first fundraising event - a public reading of 'A Christmas Carol'

        - The hospital received the first ever colour television broadcast - the Coronation in 1952

        - The author JM Barrie donated the rights to Peter Pan to the hospital in 1929

The best types of events are the types that are both entertaining, and benefits a great cause. Ashok Arora, I am sorry I have little free funds (college student), otherwise I would gladly pay more than 20 pounds for the event. Have a great time, take many pictures, and shoot the recap here so we all can enjoy!
