Just surfed into the german BMW site and they asked me for a password. Has that happend to anyone els? You could still use the site however.

I think it's only the "My BMW" part with owner manuals and some neat services that is password protected. You need a VIN of a german sold BMW to register. Sometimes when there is a new car coming up they make you register to get more info about that car.
