Press conferance after F1-qualifying today
Montoya placed 3rd, but he managed to say: "...we made some radical changes to the car that made one _hell_ of a difference..."
What is he thinking? It's no big of a deal, but still, no need to say things like that on a press conferance...
Perhaps this proves that there are alot of air-heads driving fast in this world..

Perhaps he should make some software difference in his head and improve there...
(check 'Montoya pissed' thread)
It's good to see that BMW starting from P3 on the grid hope to see at least one of their cars finish in the top 3 since the Aussie grand prix.

Sigh, I guess they only made some changes to his car, not Ralf's.

Haha, i take it that none of you have ever seen Michael Schumacher in a postrace pc in his younger days. Alot of swearing were going on then. He is well behaved now though.
"My guys did a f*cking great job on the car" etc.etc

Hehe, didn't know.... But I was thinking of the 'hell' thing after his incident with a cameraman.. For me, that was over the top. Sure his a great driver (even though his car's not great), but I don't dare thinking of him in a M5 downtown... Masacre.
Durability of the BMW Williams are just disappointing!

I Think that's a sign of how much problems BMW-Williams had with the handling of the FW25. In fact, BMW has gone on record in saying that they didn't like the way the FW25 was handling, I think that was meant as a hint to Williams to make quick and effective improvements to the car.
It's a shame, really because the BMW engine is rumoured to be one of the MOST powerful F1 engines and if they had a brilliant handling car (like the Ferrari F2003GA or even the Mclaren MP 4-17) it'll definately be a serious competitor for Mclaren and even Ferrari.

Too bad BMW's engine blew up on Sunday, Montoya's engine suddenly popped while Schumacher was in the process of overtaking Raikonnen! Haha, made Raikonnen look like a rookie - which he is.

Oh, absolutely Millie!
The BMW Williams-car has proven many times that it is no good, but still no need to use such language on a pressconference being broadcasted to 1xx (?) countries in the world. Have you seen his encounter with a vidiocamera?

we all try to hold these drivers to a higher standard. Because they are "role" models for a lot of people we expect them to behave resposibly at all times.
I have never raced competitively, but we have all experienced a rush of adrenaline both before a "street" race and especially afterwards regardless of whether we won or not.
I know that I have been totally pumped and excited if I won, as I would be totally mad if I lost.. Why then do we not allow these athletes, who risk their lives, to express the same emotions?
So what if he cursed while telling a story.. ? and I too would react a little differently if I had a camera shoved into my face nearly every free moment of my day.
I agree that he should try and be aware of his actions, perhaps ask for some "space and time" to cool down but do you think the media will respect that..
Just my 3 c worth..

Good point Andre, just because they are super-human on the track doesn't mean their personalities/behaviors off of it have to be too.

These guys drive million dollar cars, go 200mph, travel the world, have the most beautiful women fawning all over them...and they're all young. Give em a break, I'd be swearing (in a positive manner) left and right if that was my life
