        Seychelles vacation

Has anyone been to the Seychelles islands in the Indian Ocean. They sound really cool. My wife and I are planning on going in August and have a couple of questions:

        Which islands should we visit?

        Where should we stay?

Would you stay in La Digue? or just visit for couple of days?

I know this is a little obscure, but I'm sure some of you have been there. Thanks. Nigel.

I'm actually planning to go in August as well. What do you wish to accomplish during your stay there? That will make it easier to suggest an island to stay on.

Went there in 93, it was and still is the BEST vacation I've ever had. We stayed at The Plantation Club on Mahe island, great place. Most rooms are right on the beach...open the sliding doors, walk 10 feet, and you're on the beach. And the beaches, oh the beaches. Absolutely amazing. If you're a diver, you're set. If you're not, snorkelling is still unreal. Never did go to the other islands, but there's enough for you to do on Mahe. It's small enough where you can go from one end to the other in one day easily.

Simply amazing place...I plan on going back for my honeymoon...whenever that will be
