        JP Montoya drive fast ...

The Colombian pilot of F1 rolled on A8 to 204 km/heure Plus licence for Montoya Champion or not, the regulation is the same one for all the drivers: on the French motorways speed should not exceed the 130 km/heure. To have forgotten this national truth, the famous pilot of Formula 1 of the stable William-BMW Juan-Pablo Montoya was constrained with the abandonment of... his driving licence. Yesterday afternoon, around 5 p.m., circulating with sharp pace on the Southern way of "Of Provence" the specialist in the automobile competition was surprised by the radar of the motorway group of Cannet-of-Moor (VAr) whereas it slipped by towards Nice, on board a BMW 4 X 4 - X5, to 204 km/heure! Intercepted between Muy and Fréjus by a motorized patrol, the Colombian did not make any difficulty for reconnaitre his infringement not without specifying that it was accustomed to this type of speed on the most prestigious circuits of the world. The contravener has however to discharge a consignment of 1 000 euros whereas its driving licence was withdrawn to him. A deprivation which will undoubtedly obstruct it much bus for lack of this essential part it will not be able to rent any more of car to each one of its next displacements abroad. The licence of Juan-Pablo Montoya will be deposited, this morning, with the sub-prefecture of Draguignan territorialement and administratively qualified. Will the sub-prefect Marcel Pérès, who leaves the department after his appointment of prefect except framework in Paris, show lenient for his last instrument in the district him whose one know great sporting qualities?

Bad publicity for JP and for BMW. But, atleast he didn't copy Ralf. Ralf apparently totaled a new 7 on the autobahn and got his GERMAN license revoked. Well let's wish them both a ton of luck and hope Williams can get that car to handle.
