        Just thought I'd introduce myself...

Just thought I would introduce myself seeing as how I've just registered on this forum. I'm currently driving a Vauxhall Corsa but now that I'm a bit older and the insurance is cheaper, I will hopefully be purchasing a powerful rear wheel drive saloon.

        Regards
        Andy

at the Maxhead. I suppose it is partly true. I, like most members on this board (if not all of them) love performance cars. And well after passing my test when I was a teenager wanted a performance car. Unfortunately the insurance companies had other ideas, so I'm currently driving a car which is "insurance friendly". But now being a little bit older a new car is on the horizon maybe this year or next.

        Welcome Andy-UK
I get to watch UK news and as Klint can tell you I know a little about the English language, but then I seem to always be learning, now that thing about a max head? Any how welcome.

        Hello kwalls,

Well brief description of a Maxhead. I think the term on mainland europe is tuners and the associated tuning shows. Basically a person who modifies cars by means of bigger alloy wheels, bodykits and outrageous paint. See the picture below:

Just a little info about that TVR, owned by Jamie who owns Carisma Automotive. Has had over £80,000 spent on it, runs 550bhp and has a multimedia entertainment system to die for.

Thanks, I got the picture, just wanted to be sure that I understood from the beginning and that it wasn't a inside joke.
