Why is this site sooo conservative / boring?
Political discussion BANNED!, anything remotely sexual BANNED! Off color jokes BANNED, anything that might possibly offend someone BANNED! See a pattern here? Why is this site so strictly run? Am I the only person that feels this site is extremely boring? I know some will say if you don't like it leave, I just wanted to see if anyone else feels the way I do.

eeerrrr......
You have only too look at some of the forums around to understand why lots of stuff is banned. For fear of sounding "up myself", I for one don't want the scum bag, liars, bitching at one another here. It's a site for facts and for the genuine enthusiast.
Oh, and one more thing, that Bush guy..............................

Come on Rave, this site is truely the most "BMW M" focused forums out there. If I want some Off Topic, I typically visit the following sites.
www.my350Z.com
www.s2ki.com
www.mbworld.com
www.m3forum.com
www.e46fanatics.com
www.i-club.com
www.acura-cl.com
www.acura-tl.com
www.roadfly.org
www.clubrsx.com
However, sometimes when reading this forum I feel so small and insignificant. Golfers, million dollar home owners, $70K+ M5 w/ $35-45K in mods, Z8s, 360s, 575s, Lambos ...
Truely, I have actually stopped hanging out here and sort've migrated over to www.m3forum.com (younger crowd.). Rave, my best suggestion to you is: There are many forums out there, but none of them can satisfy all your wants, just combine a few and be happy. It's how I am doing it.

I think its better because of the ban. also for some sexual innuendo just look at Gustav's new M5 model thread... definately dont leave. I just think the political discussion was getting out of hand and we normally have a good self policiing site- in that instance it wasnt working.

I found a nice home at www.bimmerforums.com they have a great OT section (lots of fun), I just can't beleive how stuffy this place is, any attempt on my part to try to spice things up gets shot down, I'm sure millionaires like to have fun.

Please don't take this thread as me looking for sympathy, I just feel this site is being policed to death, its not about me. I just want to know do others feel the same. Can it be I have such little in common with fellow M5 owners?

yup,
Most millionaires get bored easily, of things. Most of what's left for them to have fun, is with the people they are associated with..
