it seems only Americans don't like to wear seatbelts... mostly all the countries I've been to, people wear seatbelts... well, maybe except taxi drivers... taxi drivers never wear a seatbelt no matter what country you're in... :p

A friend of mine in the dorms never used to wear his seatbelt. Then he rear ended a lady in his S Class, he was a passenger, at 30mph and flew right into the windshield. Just a moderate concussion, so he was lucky, but there was a nice big star crack ont the windshield. Now, he wears a seat belt every time, it's a shame that it takes an accident for some people to realize how important it is to use one.

Its unclear who was driving and who was the passenger.

Your friend rear ended a lady with his S class. So I assume he was the driver? But then he was a passenger as well?!!

Sorry to be unclear, he was indeed a passenger in the S class. His sister was driving when she looked over at the glove box to get a cd, and apparently she did not even see the driver at a stop sign. By his S class I ment his family's car.
