I cover my baby as much as possible but lately i have been getting tire gel (spray) all over the car when i put the car cover on because it is soaked into the spot where the tires are. Can you and how, was a car cover? Would it hurt it?

I just hate having to use detail mist before i put the cover on to clean the car and after i take it off just to get rid of excess tire spray that is in the cover.

You can wash your car cover as long as you use the correct detergent. One that fits is Arm and Hammer without dye and perfume. The hardest part about washing will be the drying aspect, it will take awhile.

I was thinking about going to a laundro-mat with a really big washer/dryer and doing it there and pulling the cover out before it gets really dry, preventing shrinking.
