Finally, a sample of my straight pipe!
Allright guys, I know this topic will get moved eventually but I just had to share this with all of you. This is a short sample of the straight pipe I have installed back in middle of September. The video can replicate the noise but not the throatiness that it surprisingly has (according to people who have followed me). It is very loud and most likely too loud for alot of people but it gives you an idea of what a straight pipe sounds like! So enjoy!
I want to thank UCSDxB0i for hosting this video so please be kind and right click and save target as...
http://ieng9.ucsd.edu/~emchang/Will_MINI.mov
P.S. I also want to thank Omar in Houston for giving me the idea of the "pipe"

There is nothing 'mini' about that! I bet it makes a great wail when you're on it!
Nice work, Guillaume.

It does have a very racy sound when I get on it usually on bridges and I cannot describe it in a tunnel, it's just scarry. Where the M5 and Z8 will have a powerful growl in a tunnel, my Mini will have a high pitched wail

Is it still backfiring though?

If you know its wrong, then why violate this forums posting rules, by posting in the wrong section? (as if the moderators did'nt have enough work allready).

Well, I've been bashed for my exhaust sound but you either like it or hate it.
I can't reproduce the exhaust sound truthfully on a video but I can say that it sounds very racy when I get on it and I'm on it most oftenly.
Yes, I've retained the stock look. It's not one of those 1 foot diameter tip. The new tip is actually a tad smaller than what I had before. I wanted to keep the stock look while having a not-so-stock sound!
And I shaved off 35 lbs by taking the silencer off!
