That is great news Abdullah!!! Hopefully these races will make the world more aware of what middle eastern life is like. I also wonder which race will be dropped? A German or Italian race perhaps since they have 2 each? Will we see Black M5 out on the pace lap with his supercharged beast ?

I don't think they'll drop any European races.
Japan (Suzuka) may go (sadly - it's a great 'figure eight' track). This is because the final, possibly deciding race of the season in Bahrain would attract more European viewers because it's less of a time difference.
I don't think the teams will be happy with an extra race in the season as it costs them at least $1,000,000 per race.
Congrats in any event to Bahrain.

Cool! Will you be getting box seats? What about the F1 girls? Will they have to expose less skin in front of the Shaikh? hehe.

Ahhhh now i find this thread i first posted yesterday and couldn't find later! anyhow, sorry for the double threads. maybe the moderators can erase one but add the comments to this thread ?
Thanks everyone for your warm congratulations
I just read in todays newspaper that no races will be dropped in the 04' season but in fact the Bahrain race will be added to bring the total races to 18 versus 17 as of this year.
more races = more excitment
