          This "Jaguar" is awesome!

Upgraded to Apple's new OS 10.2 named "Jaguar" and it is really excellent. I urge anyone running OS 10.1.x to make this upgrade. For you OS 9 guys, the time is now here when OS X is a compelling platform and for the windoze users out there... well, I feel for ya! j/k :p

Here I am in the shopping mall (with an apple store nearby) at around 11pm and thinking wow, this place is open? Wow, that's a long line, let's see what it's about .... keep going ... keep going ... ok, we're at the 1/4 mile mark now .... keep going ... yes, no, that's a bend ... keep going. hmm, half a mile? jeebus ... keep going...wait a second, there's a huge crowd...

what..on...OOOH! Apple store. Hmm, what's up?

"Excuse me sir, but what are you in line for? Is there some kind of show?"
"There's a show too? Wow. Apple really does it every time. I can't wait!"
          "Wait for what???"
          "Jaguar of course"
          "Uh, Jaguar? Atari Jaguar?"
"Hello, what are you talking about? Jaguar! OS 10.2! It rocks!"
          "Yeah, uh, thanks."

Mac guys...and yes, there were tents. Don't ask me why....

Oh Dan, you PC folk are a strange bunch also! But dont worry, I wasnt one of those going to the roll out parties, although I hear it was just like a BMW run event- everyone got trinkets to go home with, etc. (every BMW run event Ive been to (which is only like 3) has been great). Anyhow, as a self-respecting machead, I just had them fdx me the OS so Id have it on the day of the roll out. Apple computer did it right this time, they got those of us who pre-ordered and asked for 2 day or 1 day service (I choose 2, understanding the risk) well they got the discs to us 1 day early on friday morning! btw- I use PCs also and I am not a computer elitist. I just happen to like my mac for some things and os 10.2 sure is purdy.

oh, btw- the tents were for the strippers
