Rear Ended

Twelve hours later and I can laugh about it. On my way home from work yesterday in my perfect 2000 M5, I got rear ended. I was going about 25 mph and the other car about 40 mph. I pull to the side of the road expecting the other driver to do the same, but no she takes off! Now I'm pissed off. I call 911 and give chase. It took me about 2 miles to catch up, lot of other cars in the way. Defeated she pulls into a gas station and I block her in same time four cop cars are arriving. She gets out of her car " I wasn't trying to run just looking for a safe place to stop". Even the cops laughed.
Cops do their thing with paper work, and the arresting officer comes up to me and says "she picked the wrong car to try to run from, you can out run me". So for the next half hour we car talk, tires, driving ability. The cop tells me we have to shoot at the range every week, but we are given only one driving class. "We drive fast every day". So I make a trade, you teach me to shoot, I'll teach you to drive. All and all it still sucked.

At least you weren't hurt and you got the driver for hit and run. Now you also got a cop buddy to take care of the speeding tickets!
