OT: Funniest car commercial ever!
I hope someone can share this with us...
When I was in Europe a last week, I saw this commercial for a 4 door Peugeot. It is by far the one of the funniest commercials that I have ever seen.
This kid is looking at a magazine. He suddenly jumps into this beat up car and starts going nuts by beating the crap out of it. I mean, he is driving this thing into walls left and right, back and forth. A small crowd begins to watch this kid destroy his car. He then gets an elaphant to start bending and smooshing the car. After that he starts to weld and solder the car late into the night.
Morning comes and he opens the magazine. In the magazine you see this brand new Peugeot. As he lowers the magazine, you see his car in the background and it looks almost exactly the same. You can tell it was all done up but it looks real close.
So, at the end of the commercial he is driving past a crowd of people with a few of his fiends in the car and he has that, "look at me, I'm cool look" all over his face (as do his friends).
I looked everywhere on the internet to see if I can find it so I could share it with you guys but I came up empty handed. If anyone can manage to share this with us, I would really appreciate it. For those of you in Europe, you must have seen this commercial. It's off the wall funny!! I tried to tape it when I was out there but I had no luck.

Indians representing! The car that he bashes up is called the Ambassador, built by Hindustan motors. It's based on an old Morris car from the 40s or 50s, and built solely in India for Indians. It's intriguing history comes from the fact that the body shape hasn't changed from its original design for over 50 years. Sure, they tweak the exterior lights every once in a while, and they finally added bench seats as an option about 4-5 years ago, but otherwise it's the same car as from back then. The top of the line car makes a whopping 80 HP, which isn't that useful in India because people and cows and dogs and stuff inhabit the roads with the cars (even seen in that ad). In India, if you're going 90 KPH on a highway, you are hauling ***.
