England is out of W/C :-)))

Hi there

i have watched the soccer match England vs. Brazil and I gotta say: I'm really happy to have these arrogant British assheads out of soccer world cup.

Btw. Germany is in the half finals and USA is also out (sorry guys, our chancellor didn't tell our football players about "infinite solidarity" :-))

Cya

Yup! Brazil all the way!
Even with 10 players against 11 Brazil still played brilliantly. Their individual skill is amazing Way above the British team or any other country in the world for that matter. If Ronaldinho did not get a Red Card it could be a 4-1 vor Brazil

On the other hand the US-Germany game was one of the worst game I've ever seen. US played briliantly although they have lack of skill but very high in stamina and has a very sharp attack. Germany on the other hand doesn't play half as good as it used to be, plus the defense sux. Thank God Kahn is still the best goalkeeper in the world. I was betting for Germany and I won but I'm still not satisifed with the way they played.

Not many realized that the German team that lost 1-5 to England is totally a different one. The aging Mathaus was on that team!

I suspect that it was a German strategy to find out about the England team.

This German team is so lucky to have Kahn and may reach the final because of him.

Well, Christoph, I hate football and are also glad that it`s all over for us, maybe it will stop all those plonkers driving around with St George flags plastered all over their cars.

But...

I see from your profile that you are a 19 year old student. Your english seems good enough reading your other posts that you know what you are saying.

In that case I will put your immaturity and lack of respect down to your youth. There is absolutely no need to start mouthing off your opinion that a whole country is an "arrogant asshead" when you only have about 12 posts to your name, and certainly have not gained a reputation for respect or tolerance here.

Considering that you students are supposed to be the future generation, the people to take the world forward in the twenty first century, I would have expected more from someone who has the commitment and resources to purchase and maintain a rare M5 Touring...

...Or is that Dads car and the Volvo yours ?

Ivan.

Ditto. U.S. lacks skill? Hmmm, I guess that is why clubs are clamoring all over themselves for Landon Donavon, Beasley and others.

I was sad to see England out but Brazil was far superior. England really has to get some young creative players in the side. I know they had some injuries but Dyer was a dissappointment. I think some U.S. players are better at taking players on. I have always believed that much of the English system discourages that. I was waiting for Joe Cole but he never got his chance. He couldn't have been worse than Butt or Scholes against Brazil.
