Angry OT: New Speeding law in Calgary...

Well, i heard this on the radio a couple days ago (i live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada). That there is a new law out, i guess only for Calgary, that if you get busted, you have to pay $50 (canadian) for EVERY kilometer over the speed limit. So if i was doing 20 over...thats a $1000 ticket! Is that crazy or what?!

Is there such organization as National Motorists Association in Canada?

Drivers of all countries unite!

make speed limits based on engeeniring studies and violating them a capital crime!

Nobody will speed then...

Well, if true, it would remain to be seen how many M5 owners would allow themselves to be caught ...
