OT: Upgrading my E55!

Hey guys!

Sorry for the off topic discussion. But just wanted to get your opinions and suggestion. First of i have a 02 E55 and i'm thinking of upgrading and enhancing it. My first priority/subject is to add a Kleemann Kompressor to the engine and then secondly upgrade my suspension to Kleemann suspension too. And then add a set of Racing Hart Type C2 19"s with 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear. I haven't really decided as far as the wheels. But again just wanted to get your opinion, suggestions or comments.

Thanks!

No flames pls.

Hey JamE, that sounds awesome, kleeman compressors kick ***, especially since they are screw type and create max boost at very low RPMs. The only downside is that they have a decent price tag. My buddy Samir at www.renn-sport.net has a clk55 that he has been doing custom engine tuning to. You should definetely email him. He is very knowledgable and carries all Kleeman products as well. His pricing is also some of the best you can find for Kleeman items, I'm not affiliated with him, but he gave me an awesome deal on some n/a tuning parts for my 330. His email is Samir@renn-sport.net

Good luck!

P.S.- He is also in the Socal area, in LA so it would definetely be worthwhile to check him out

IMHO you should go with different wheels. Maybe BBS or HRE. Racing Hart just seem a little "ricey" to me for that calibre of a vehicle. Just my opinion though. To each his own

Thanks Omar!

I've been reading about this kompressor system and it really kicks a**. I actually rode in one of these a few months back. An E55 with the Kleemann Kompressor system and i couldn't even tell you how awsome the acceleration and torque is on this monster! When i talked to guy who owns the vehicle he told me that he has about 560-570hp at the crank and about 540lbs of torque!

When he floors this thing you're neck will just literally push back. Awsome system.:pop:

Thanks CM5GO!

I was really thinking of the BBS LM's but too common around here. And the HRE look kind of heavy. I liked the Racing Hart because if i go with the staggered setup 19x9 or 8.5 front and 19x10 or 9.5 rear the lips on the wheel would look really nice.

YES!!!!!!!! That sounds about right....very fkin insane!!! Right now, he has installed a custom manifold, apparently AMG's manifold was very restrictive and robbed some HP. I have the video of the dyno, I just need a place to host it. You can view pics of his clk CLK PICS

I've seen the dyno video and it's awsome! Do you know what exhaust system he is running? I'm also thinking of removing the resonators on mine for extra hp.
